LITERACY BLOCK FRAMEWORK • PL 221 Meeting – Based on results of data • 230 COMBINED MINUTES FOR: • Literacy (minimum 135 minutes) • Math (minimum 50 minutes) • Success Time (30 minutes) • Morning Routine, including Town Hall (15 minutes after 9:00 am bell) • LEAVES Minimum 55 minutes for: • Science/Social Studies Inquiries • Transitions • Additional Literacy Block

Each member offers strategies that were effective in reaching the goal set at last meeting (5 min.) • Chief Challenges – What is the urgent concern, problem, or obstacle to progress or better results? Use Quality Tools (3-5 min.)

Use Quality Tools (8-10 min.) • Action Plan – Which solution might be best for the team to focus on between now & next meeting? Responsibilities for next meeting? (10 min.) • After Meeting: • Team leader distributes a memo documenting the team’s focus between now & the next meeting.
