WHAT IS FLY ASH ● Fly Ash is a supplementary cementitious material (SCM) and a by-product of pulverized coal incineration in the process that generates electricity. ● Normally considered as waste, Fly Ash is extremely beneficial in lowering the carbon footprint of concrete products. ● For each ton of Fly Ash used in place of traditional/portland cement, approximately one ton of carbon dioxide emissions is dodged.
