2. Collaborating with my mentor When collaborating with my mentor this week she told me many thing about the culture of Iran. She told me what she would teach me this month. She also taught me how to write some sentences in Farsi. My mentor told me to write down the alphabet on paper and write down the names of the letters under it then she taught me how to write a sentence in Farsi. We also talked about what we would do next month.

3. What I’ve learned this month This month I learned the rest of the Farsi alphabet. I even learned to write some sentences in Farsi. I learned to write the letters and the names. I also learned the sounds of most of the letters. Finally I learned some new greetings and how to start a small conversation with someone.

5. Goals for next month Some goals for next month is to learn the rest of the sounds of the alphabet. I want to also learn how to write more sentences for practice and to learn the sounds more. I need to learn more words and phrases so I can talk better and clearly. I want to practice writing the letters capital and lower case letters. One more thing I would like to learn is to learn more of Iran’s culture and stories.
