Wii is just one game console but provides many positive physical benefits. Students can work together and because of the nature of the games students will feel comfortable and have fun competing verse each other while working out. This video game is a great way to get students up and moving.

What is the S2 Exercise Bike? • The S2 youth exercise bike is an interactive piece of equipment that allows the rider to customize his/her own ride experience. It can decipher each rider and create a workout to help them improve each time. • With an interactive and personalized screen how could it get much better. . .but it can!
S2 Exercise Bike Specs. • From it’s premium tours and virtual images of “camel country”, the “iron hourse rush” and the “rabbit run” to name a few the S2 bike can appeal to everyone. • Students can play music and are able to view total calories burned, total miles and a summary of their current ride. • All of these features are able to keep students focused and engaged in an activity.
When it Can be Used in Class. • During a station day. Students can bike for 5 minutes when the bikes are used as a station. • Students can choose (sign-up) to use the bike instead of running the track. • If students are late they must replace that time on the bike. Therefore they are being held accountable for their actions but still engaging in physical activity.

With this healthy competition they will learn how to encourage each other. • Students will benefit from a great work out and new knowledge regarding cardiovascular health.
Goals: Teachers • Teacher will have new equipment to motivate students and peak interest. • Teachers can implement a teaching focus on cardiovascular strength, muscular endurance and other health components as it pertains to the students. • Teachers can show how fitness can be fun and encourage students to use similar equipment outside of school.
