Constructed Wetlands: A Possible Solution Method of Wastewater Treatment for the La Semilla del Progresso Agricultural School and the Surrounding Community
Venkata Satyam - Ven Satyam is a 16-year-old student at Chelmsford High School. Currently in 11th grade, he wants to go to medical school after he graduates and hopes he will be accepted at Harvard College. He is not entirely sure where in the medical field he wants to specialize, but he has narrowed it down to either cardiology or neurology. In his free time, Ven plays the viola and the guitar, both of which he enjoys a great deal. Ven also is an active member of his town’s local Boy Scout troop and is hoping to become an Eagle Scout by the end of the summer of 2009.
David Couto - David Couto is a sixteen-year-old student attending Chelmsford High School in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and is a member of both the Science and Math teams there. He is extremely dedicated to engineering and science and hopes to attend MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the near future and gain a degree in engineering. With this knowledge David hopes to somehow benefit the world and help it to progress, a naïve yet hopeful goal. Besides in and out of school academics, David enjoys playing several sports. He is a varsity player on his school’s soccer team and is involved in recreational baseball and basketball. David has a love of music and is also involved in TV production at his school. He loves helping others and also being around and interacting with people in general.
Johnson Pham - Johnson Pham is an 18 year old Vietnamese boy. He is currently attending Lowell High school and the TEAMS academy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Some of the clubs he is active in are chess, ballroom dancing, ILC (International Language Club), science, and SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions). He is interested in engineering but is still undecided when it comes to majors. Johnson likes to hang out a lot, either at home or outside, and he always has fun. When he is out he can just sit and talk with his friends because he enjoys the environment. When he is home he likes to spend his afternoons in the upstairs of his house with a lot of friends over. Some things they do together are break dancing and ping pong. Nobody likes to be bored, and Johnson always tries to brighten the mood and have fun.
Josh Weinberg - Josh is a 16 year old student at Littleton High School. He has been playing the drums for 5 years and is very into music – so much so that he dreams to be a musician for a living. However, Josh is also very interested in the natural sciences, especially biology. He eventually seeks to obtain his DVM (Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine) and continue to be a veterinary surgeon, owning his own practice.
