Data Collection Method • Dietary Assessment • 24-h recall, food records, food weighing, FFQ, Dietary Histories • Anthropometry Assessment • measurement of body weight, height/length, head circumference, MUAC • Biochemical Assessment • measurement of Hb, albumin, blood glucose concentrations • Clinical Assessment • goiter palpation, clinical assessment of vitamin A deficiency, clinical assessment of anemia adapted from WidyaRahmawati with Permission

Interview • informal, unstructured, semi structured and structured interviews • Observation • direct, un-direct observation • Focus Group Discussion • a group of discussion that gathers people from similar background/experiences to discuss a specific topic of interest to the researcher adapted from WidyaRahmawati with permission

  6. Questionnaires • There are 3 types of questionnaires: • Questionnaire for collecting individual data • Questionnaire for collecting household • Questionnaire for collecting structural data • The questionnaires should be standardized to simplify their completion & subsequent use
