Challenges • 3 age groups amongst the 50+ with different needs • Senior but not yet retired • Retired but independent • Retired but dependent • Fear of technology • Underestimation of the benefit (‘for what the hell do I need this’?) • Costs. Problem especially in poorer countries (East) • Varying degrees of intensity of countries’ elderly strategy (e.g. e-health is not a big topic in Eastern Europe)
