My name is Mrs. McKiernan • Born and raised in Florida • Graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Psychology and a M.A. in Elementary Education • Teaching for the past 8 years • Lived in San Diego now for 2 years with my husband, Connor • 5 year old Lab mix, Sadie • Love to travel, try new restaurants, and explore the city!

Read for at least 20 minutes each night • Set a reading goal that is realistic and celebrate them! • Reading Log in folder (and on website) • Spelling list • Suggestions for practicing on website • Math lesson • Parent tips will be sent home for each module (videos available on website) Homework is due the following Monday!
Every Friday, plus some others… • Sent home on Monday and due the following Monday (reading, math, spelling) • Differentiated assignments in ELA/Math if needed • Encourage experiential learning

I will begin asking for volunteers once our routines and procedures are firmly in place through SignUp Genius… • Several options: • prepare materials (copy, cutting, pasting, etc.) • working with a small group of students • teach a lesson • field trips • special event • art & music docents!!!
