  2. Songa Policies • Songa Corporate Policies are posted in the TV Room (2-Deck) • Compliance to these policies is Mandatory for all personnel onboard

  3. PPE Requirements Whilst outside and working the following PPE must be worn • Helmet • Safety Glasses • Long Sleeve Coveralls • Safety Boots • Gloves

  4. Jewellery and Long Hair Policy • Finger Rings must not be worn during physical work onboard. • Rings, Earrings, piercings or neck chains that are visible or that may become exposed during movements, must be removed. • Long hair must be contained by way of a hair net or similar tight fitting head wear, while at work.

  5. Smoking onboard • Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. • Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere in accommodation areas • Only Authorised smoking area is forward at the lifeboats Any person smoking in unauthorised areas may be removed from the Rig

  6. Alarms and Emergency Signals • Following all alarms, a PA announcement will state: • What and where the emergency is • What Muster points to proceed too • Any additional instruction (e.g. areas to avoid)

  7. Muster Stations • When any alarm sounds, the following actions must be taken: • Make your work area safe • Listen to PA Announcement • Dress in correct PPE • Collect your Grab bag, Immersion Suit and Life Jacket • Move directly and quickly to your Muster Point as directed on PA System

  8. Life Jackets Do Not wear inside accommodation Pass jacket over your head Clip buckle on the front Pull strap so it is firm but not too tight • Report any defects immediately to Marine Crew.

  9. Actions on Fire • Raise the Alarm • Notify Bridge as soon as possible of location, nature and extent of fire. • If nature/location/extent of fire is appropriate then try to put it out. • If not able to be managed then evacuate location, close doors and move to directed muster location.

  10. Environmental & Waste Management • All rubbish to be disposed of in the correct containers / bins. • Bins in the Galley and on Deck are marked for the segregation of Waste. • Rubbish bins onboard are labelled to segregate waste. If not sure which skip to use, ask the Deck crew. • Any spillage of oil or chemicals is to be reported immediately. Commence containment using the spill kits provided on deck. No overboard dumping of any items at any time

  11. Mess • No work clothing to be worn inside the galley • No bare feet. You must have footwear on inside the galley • No singlets/Vests to be worn inside the galley
