To choose the right cement for different construction process first you need to plan the construction and estimate your budget. Most of the cement companies in India produce a variety of cement which are used in different stages of construction.<br>Foundation, Column and Beam construction<br>The foundation, column and beams carry the load of the construction and hence the cement used for their construction needs to be strong and durable. So Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) is the ideal cement to be used as it hydrates slowly and gives high final strength.<br>Wall construction<br>For brickwork and wall construction Ordinary Portland Cement OPC is used because the initial setting time of OPC is faster than that of other cement. It is easy to handle as compared to other cement.<br>Roof construction<br>A roof requires sturdy form of RCC mix hence 53 grade OPC cement is prefered for roof construction as it has the highest level of compressive strength which allows construction to achieve initial strength quickly and settles faster<br>
