  3. Mantra Jaap To Please Shani Dev SHANI MAHARAJ'S LIFE: • Shani is one of nine planets in our solar system which is called Saturn. In Hindu mythology, Shani is the son of Surya(SUN) and Chaaya(Shadow). Shani and Surya(SUN) are enemies and also they are close relatives. So mantra Jaap to please Shani dev is done when Surya(SUN) sets. ShaniMaharaj has a brother Dharamraj and a sister Yamuna River.
