RENASCIMENTO (XV-XVI) • Mudança de consciência, leva a mudanças culturais (processo lento); • Mentalidade: saída da “Idade das Trevas”, buscando inspiração na Antigüidade Clássica (Grécia & Roma); • Humanismo: Universidades (séc. XII) surge a crítica a hermenêutica (estudos da bíblia), busca por novos campos de estudos (humanidades); • Ênfase na filosofia; • Balança entre o humano e o religioso; • Massificação dos livros impressos; • Ascenção da burguesia urbana; • Primazia das cidades italianas (Florença, Roma, Veneza); • Mecenato (patrocínio as artes): exibição de riqueza = status político; • Renascimento artístico: além dos temas religiosos são explorados outras temáticas, como mitologia e cenas do cotidiano;
