Key Focus Areas www.nspe.org • Shaping Public Policy Actions NSPE Presses Congress, National Transportation Safety Boardon Pipeline Safety • Reduce scope and number of PE exemptions • Require that PEs be in responsible charge of the practice of engineering • Share documents and public testimony from PEs in opposition to licensing law exemptions. • Educate external stakeholders on role and importance of qualified engineering. • Encourage members to use the NSPE Action Center to contact their member of Congress and support ending licensing exemptions on public utility pipelines.
