Form Control Maintenance Selecting a Service Invoice or Service Order numbered 100 or above will allow you to control the level of detail that prints on your forms.
Call Type Setup Setup begins at the Call Type level. Use these 6 fields to define what level of detail will print in each section. These settings can be overwritten by the customer, SO, or SO Invoice as needed.
Customer Maintenance The same options are available to configure at the Customer level, under the {Rates} tab. These override the Call Type for this Customer.
Service Order Entry The same options are available to configure at the Service Order level, under the {Notes} tab. This overrides the Call Type AND CustomerSetup.
Invoice Inquiry Lastly, even the invoice can be modified so that it reprints with different levels of detail. You’ll find the fields under the {Additional Info} tab.
Available Options • Detail prints everything • No Detail omits the section. • Summary gives a total line only • For Labor you can also choose Activity or No Zero Line. • For Items you can also choose to omit certain aspects of the parts, like Item Number, Memo, & Price. Even omitting it only on the Invoice, but printing it on the Service Order.
Summary • Selecting an existing 100 + level form allows you to control how much detail prints on each Service Order and Service Invoice. • Setup is controlled in one of four places • Call Type • Customer Maintenance • Service Order Entry • Invoice Inquiry • Can control detail related to SO Comment, Bill Comments, Items, Labor, Labor Comments, and Additional Charges.
