Reviewing the District’s goalsand core values led to our building goals: • Academic Excellence • “Value" • Community Involvement
Accomplishments:Academics, Community and Involvement 2008-2009 • School Pride Campaign • 375 Books Donated by PTA • Character Counts Program • ELA, Math Tutoring and Focused Instruction • Family Curriculum Night: Second Grade (introduction for future Parents for Proficiency Committee) • Student generated invitations to volunteer in our school
Future Endeavors 2009-2010 • Continue School Pride with added Communication initiatives • PTA will continue to run “Bag of Books” and increase books and grade levels • Disseminate information to the school and community about the program and increase activities to promote better citizenship within the school and community • Continue ELA and Math Tutoring • Provide a response to focused Instruction Intervention (daily opportunities) • Enhance this year’s Curriculum Night to include additional grade levels • Sponsor Volunteer Training Opportunities • Introduce “Going Green” as a school-wide initiative
