HOW you use groundwater • You use groundwater in many ways sometimes you don’t know that your using it. • You use it in the shower, when you wash your hands in the sink, and finally when you flush the toilet. • Without groundwater you would not be able to get most of your daily needs. • Sometimes you use groundwater and you don’t even realize it.

How groundwater gets to us • Groundwater gets to us by going through the earth’s surface and comes up through the pipes. • Groundwater is recharged from, and eventually flows to, the surface naturally. • Natural discharge often occurs in the spring and it seeps, it can form oases and wetlands. • Sometimes groundwater is also often withdrawn for agricultural, municipal.
