•When people started having more nationalism for their country they wanted to spread their ways to smaller, more “uncivilized” countries. • We and other countries thought that the smaller, third-world countries did not know how to make things or revolutionize their country. Rising sense of Nationalism People started standing up for their country more Citizens wanted the best for their country Military acted on demands of the citizens They had an urge to spread their nationalism to other countries that weren't industrialized and were thought of as uncivilized countries Countries started taking over the “third-world” countries to where they had the same beliefs as that country that took them over did

Summary • Nationalism and imperialism lead to each other when one country was trying to spread a culture to another country or when ones country was over dominance. Countries were trying to spread believes and taking power to control other land one country tries to help another country, because they think what they have could help one another.
