Setting • The main setting in the beginning is at Greene Forest and Eddie’s school. • Middle of this scary story is the school where Hat tries to drop a tarantula on someone's head but doesn’t succeed and where the cat gets stuck in a tree in the neighborhood . • The ending of the book is at the creepy scary Greene Forest . Where they might have revenge on Courtney and Denise

  3. Characters Main CHARACTERS Minor Characters Denise-she is Courtney’s (‘’twin’’)and also best friends. Mr. Melvin-is Eddie’s,Hat’s,Molly’s,Charlene’s,Courtney’s,and Denise’s Teacher. • Eddie Is the main character of this book. He has always been picked on by Courtney because she has always been able to scare him. • Hat- He is Eddies best friend that has always been on his side to scare Courtney. • Courtney-is always out to get Eddie and scare him (Eddie is not the most bravest person) • Charlene-is one of Eddies’ best friends that also tries to scare Courtney. • Molly-is in the same position as Charlene.

  4. Summary Eddie is a normal kid that is scared of lots and lots of things like snakes , monsters , ect. But Courtney has never been scared of those kind of things .She has always been able to scare Eddie no matter what . Now Eddie has come up with a plan to scare Courtney but he tried three different times and never succeeded but this time he figured it out he would scare her with a fictional monster………A MUD MONSTER ! Will Eddie be able to scare Courtney or will he end up scaring himself ? You may never know unless you read this Goosebumps book.

Recommend • I would recommend this book because you will always be at the edge of your seat when you read a Goosebumps book .So if you like scary books like this one then you should read it and it doesn’t matter how many times you read it ,it will always give you the Goosebumps! I would give it a thumbs up!
