The U.S. Constitution has influenced political systems throughout the world. Principle: • Federalism Definition: • The national government and the states government share power. In the U.S. Constitution: • Powers are shared between the national government and the 50 states government. In the World Today: • In South Africa, power is shared between the national government and the government of the nine provinces.
