WASC site visit • WASC Visiting team at SCU Oct. 20 - 22, 2009 • Visiting Team will • Interview key individuals • Hold meetings with key groups • Team is seeking to • Verify information in report and exhibits • Clarify areas that are confusing • Explore matters of institutional focus • Probe about areas of concern • Learn about climate and culture
Visiting Team and FSC • Visiting Team will meet with FSC representatives • Separate meetings with other faculty leaders, administrators, staff, students, etc. • When? • Wednesday October 21, 2009 • Probable time: 3:30 • Locations TBD
Meetings with Visiting Team • Meetings may take several forms • Straight Q & A • Mini questionnaires • Fishbowls • Observation of regular meeting process • Typical format • twomembers of visiting team meet with groups of 8 - 12 faculty • Meetings last about 45 minutes • Visiting Team will also hold open meetings for all faculty • no administrators invited • WASC will establish confidential email account for comments
