  5. Different Types Seminoma -slow-growing -30-40s-testes-spread to lymph nodes Nonseminoma -common -fast-multiple cell tumors -Choriocarcinoma, Embryonal carcinoma, Teratoma, Yolk Sac tumor

  6. Symptoms • Pain in the testicle, lower back, abdomen • Engorging of testicle • Breast tissue • Lump, swelling

  7. Screening • Physical self examination • United States Preventive Services Task Force

  8. Diagnosis • Abdominal and pelvic CT Scan • Blood tests • Chest x-ray • Ultrasound of scrotum

  9. Stages • Stage I, contained • Stage II, spreading • Stage III, metastasized

  10. Treatment • Orchiectomies • Lymphadenectomies • Radiation for Seminoma • Chemotherapy for both

  11. Prevention • Exercise • Diet • Not smoking • Not drinking • For all cancers
