INTRODUCTION Kidney stone is a renal hereditary disease apart from that it can occur in people which drink less water and eat excess food. Stones are formed due to the deposition of certain elements such as calcium,etc. Composition of kidney stones varies but the most common one is of calcium oxalate. Kidney stones vary in size and ranges from few millimeters to centimeters. Presence of kidney stones cause high concentration of urea, creatanine, etc in blood.
Symptoms • Sharp pain in the back or in area where kidneys are present. • Nausea • Vomiting • Pink-red urine • Restlessness
Diagnostics • CT scan • X-rays • (IVP) Intravenous Pyelogram • Urine Tests • Blood Tests
Prevention • Water intake should be more than 8 glass per day • Do not take food in excess which is rich in calcium or any other compound which can help in formation of stones.
