  2. Rice University Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Senior Karen Romero Hometown, Country: Bogotá, Colombia I decided to take part in INNOVATE 2007 because I would like to learn more about global technology and its effect on our economy and the advancement of the biosciences and medicine. I look forward to learning several aspects of technological advancement in Asia and to meeting many new friends across the US and in Asia.
