What happens to women who get trichomoniasis? • Painful inflammation of the vagina • Itching of the vagina and vulva • Yellow frothy offensive discharge from the vagina • Sexual intercourse may be painful
What happens to men who get trichomoniasis? • Usually no symptoms • May have some discomfort in the urethra • The head of the penis may become inflammed and hurt a bit

What is the treatment for Trichomaniasis? • The infected person and any partners should be treated with a medication called metronidazole.
