Choose 2 of the things people often thank God for. • Explain why these things could be easily lost/ or why having them is a matter of luck. • Which thing is not really a matter of luck at all, but purely down to God’s love & goodness? Why? • **Do you think it is right that we should thank God for these things? Or should we assume that we actually deserve them and will always have them? Often, people want to thank God especially for things that they feel are a matter of luck, and could easily be lost. • Physical health & wellbeing • Peace: to go about your daily life freely & without stress • Having Love and friendship in your life • Having talents and opportunities: having a hope for the future • Having joy in your life, whatever happens • Having faith & God in your life. God being born as a human being, for you. • Protection from disasters: losing your family, money, home, causing a serious accident, being a victim of crime, making wrong decisions.

May it give mestrength to do Your will And lead me to life everlasting. Amen. Write your own prayer of thanksgiving to say after receiving Holy Communion. (or copy one out) Make it into a Mass card/ bookmark.
