  1. What is an Internet Browser? • Internet browser— An Internet browser is a client program that knows how to interpret HTML code and display information and graphics to a client. Some Internet browsers also have the capability to interpret and run programming languages at the client computer (such as Java or VBScript). • Software Application • Used for retrieving, presenting, and transferring informational resources. -Can be an image, webpage, video or piece of content. -Primarily intended to access the world wide web

Why Safari? • Security Feature • One particularly useful feature is its handling of browser cookies Instead of merely letting you enable or disable cookies altogether, Safari gives you a third option that enables cookies for the sites you visit but disables other cookies that are on the same page. For example, if you visit a news site, Safari will accept cookies for just that site, and not cookies for the page's advertisements. • International Localizations • Safari is available in 16 languages and can spell-check in 14 languages.
