  3. Introduction • Information Literacy is the ability to find, evaluate and use information effectively. • The purpose of this course is to inform you of key resources, and to make you feel confident in seeking help when it is needed.

  4. Objectives Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to: 1. Determine the nature and extent of the information needed. 2. Access needed information effectively and efficiently. 3. Evaluate information and its sources critically. 4. Use information effectively to accomplish a specific purpose.
