    3. Other Assessments DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) – elementary grades InView section of the Terra Nova - grade 2 STAMP Test (World Languages) - grade 8 NJPASS 9 and 10 – LAL and Math EOC Algebra II (pilot group field test) EOC Algebra I (field test begins in 2009)

    5. NJASK 3 Language Arts Literacy Mean score = 224.3 Total Proficiency = 88.6% Advanced Proficient (Scale score 250+) = 12% Proficient (Scale score 200-249)= 76.6% Note: Percentages are rounded and may not total to 100%

New Proficiency Levels: Higher Standards for NJASK 5-8 Completely redesigned tests to provide better information on mastery of NJCCCS “Raised the bar” More students statewide in the “partially proficient” category (next year, same process for NJASK 3 and 4 Example of impact: (grade 5 LAL) 2007: 41 points; 39% correct for score of 200 2008: 75 points; 53% correct for score of 200
