  2. Big Question • Which one will spoil first the banana on the counter or the refrigerator? • Explanation: Which one will spoil first?

  3. HYPOTHESIS • I think the banana on the counter will spoil first because it is out and it’s a little hotter • Explanation: It is a little hotter on the counter so I guess it is going to spoil first.

  4. INTERESTING FACTS • One interesting fact I found was how they spoil. • They change every day. • One spoils faster one day. • Other spoils even faster the other day • Tempting to find out which one will spoil first

  5. EXPIERMENT • Materials: 2 shiny new bananas A counter refrigerator

  6. INSTRUCTIONS • First, take one banana and put it on the counter. Next, take another banana and put it in the refrigerator. Finally, wait for a week to see if anything happened.

  7. CONTROL/VARIABLES • The banana on the counter is in the variables. The one in the refrigerator is in the control group.

  8. OBSERVATIONS • On day 2 a little brown spots on the on the counter. On day 4 little more brown spots on the one on the counter. On day 6 so many brown spots on the banana on the counter and only some on the one in the refrigerator.

  9. DATA • On day 2 I saw a little bit of brown spots on the banana on the counter. On day 4 I saw more brown spots on the one on the counter and no spots in the one in the refrigerator. On day 6 I saw that the one on the counter had so many spots and the on in the refrigerator had only some.

  10. ANALYSIS • The experiment did test my hypothesis because my hypothesis was correct

  11. CONCLUSION • My hypothesis was correct. • I would change one banana to an apple to see what happens them. • Why did the one on the counter melt faster then the one in the fridge?
