  2. After their father’s death, Ben, Harry and their mother were visiting their dad’s brother in Shogahama, Japan.

  3. Harry one day climbed a cherry tree to make a wish. His dad, before he passed away, said “if you climb to the top of a cherry tree and make a wish your wish will come true.” Then when Harry got to the top he fell and injured himself badly.

  4. Ben and Harry went inside after Harry had fallen . In less than 10 minutes an Earthquake hit . Both boys hid under a steel bed for safety. Their mother came looking for them after the Earthquake stopped. It lasted more than 25 minutes.

  5. Then they all went outside and saw a Tsunami coming toward them.

  6. They all went to their uncle’s car , they got in and started driving away from the Tsunami.

  7. The Tsunami caught up to them, the water flooded the car, and the car tipped over. Harry, Ben’s Mother, and Ben’s Uncle fell out then of the car. Ben was the only one stuck in the car.

  8. Ben was trapped in the car. But after a few minutes he found his way out.

  9. Ben found a school where everyone was staying. A doctor was there and checked Ben. Soon after Ben took a nap and woke up a couple hours later.

  10. A nice woman across from Ben, gave him food and a bottle of water to help him. Then after the weather was better Ben went outside and played basketball at the basketball court.

  11. Soon after Ben heard his name being yelled. It was his mother, uncle, and Harry. Two days later Ben, Harry and Ben’s mother went home to California.
