Sequence of Events Eventually, George Calder grabs a shelf and Enzo grabs a crate in the water. Then after floating for some time they find a makeshift lifeboat and get in. They all survived because they were found the next day by the Carpathea. George could never forget. Here are the events of the book. It starts with the people on the Titanic. Then the boy George Calder sneaks away to explore the ship at night. Next George hears a rumble in the floors below. Then when he goes back to the room he notices his sister Phoebe has gone looking for him. George then wakes up his aunt and they go looking for Phoebe. Daisy Calder and George Calder find Phoebe in third class. Then George Calder, Phoebe Calder, Daisy Calder find a way to get past the bars on the third class doors with Enzo and Marco from the third class. They climb up a ladder in the crews cabin and get onto the deck. Then George Calder and Enzo are separated from the rest because of the shortage of lifeboats.
The sinking of the Titanic was one of the worst man-made disasters of the 20th century. More than 1500 people died upon the ship or in the water. Around 750 were rescued by the Carpathea. The Titanic has taught society many lessons about safety. Now ships are designed to hold enough lifeboats to take everyone off the ship in time in the event of an accident. Now the Titanic is sitting at the bottom of the north Atlantic ocean. In 20 to 50 years there will be no wreck because of the bacteria eating away at the steel. People are still finding parts of the Titanic and some have never been discovered. It should stand as a memorial for the people who died on April, 15 1912. The End Died Lived
