Knights Of Philanthropy Knights of Philanthropy will raise $400 through fundraisers to purchase new American, Florida Flags, and new signs for the Boys’ Town campus.
Objectives 1) Acquire Flags/Flag Accessories Donated or at Discounted price 2) Publix Fundraiser/ $150 non-monetary donations 3) Raise $140 from a car wash 4) Donations from Friends/Family- $200 5) Get Ice Cream Donated 6) Ask Honor Guard to perform at ceremony, as well as a guest speaker

Importance of Service Learning and Civic Engagement • Setting the foundations for socially responsible business-minded students • Fostering a positive relationship between the business community and UCF • UCF Business Graduate – Being able to exhibit the cornerstone competencies
Preparation and Implementation • We “planned the work” and then “worked the plan” . • Week going up to event, we stayed in regular contact with Boys Town, Oviedo Police Department, and Bruster’s Ice Cream. • June 30th, Our flag raising ceremony at Boys Town. • Went very well.
