Big Lottery Funding: • Stroke Awareness Training – 2 year post to: • Develop a training model, in conjunction with NHS • Lanarkshire partners, to promote awareness of the • complexities associated with stroke disease. • Deliver the training as appropriate • Carry out a training needs assessment of staff working with • patients and carers throughout the NHS Lanarkshire area.

  17. Patient narratives • One case from each hospital • Selected by stroke liaison nurses • All women • Different levels of impairment • Informed consent
