History of the RPOA & REI • 1968 RPOA Founded in 1968 • Reason: Governmental Affairs • 1981 RPOA Incorporated as Non-Profit • Purpose: • Promote and Improve Rental Property. • Promote Interest of Rental Property Owners. • Educate Rental Property Owners. • Promote and Preserve Free Enterprise. • 1998 Full-time Director & Staff Hired • First Strategic Plan Developed • 2003 REI Membership Created • Reason: To Expand Services & Benefits for Non-Landlords

Tenant Screening Services Members Have Two Options! Decision Reports Order Decision Reports via telephone, fax, email or in person from the RPOA. (No need to review the details; reports rated based upon RPOA developed criteria.) • Credit Reports • Members can pull Credit and Criminal Reports from their own office locations! • (Member reviews the details and makes their own decision based.) Tenant Screening Services • Credit Reports • What you get: • Members can pull credit and criminal reports from their own computers at their own offices anytime and have immediate access to reports. • Ability to look at all the detail on a report, including but not limited to social security mismatches, total indebtedness, trade line detail, collection information, court eviction information, etc. • Primary Eligibility Requirements: • Must be a member in good standing, complete an application and contract for services, own a computer with internet access, and pay for--and pass--a physical inspection of the member’s office location.
Tenant Screening Services • Decision Reports • What you get: • A choice between a Decision Report based upon a credit report alone or one based upon a credit report and a criminal report. • A report showing, at minimum: • Name and social security number. • Notation of “Pass” or “Fail” on three different levels of criteria: Loose, Moderate and Strict. • Primary Eligibility Requirements: • Must be a member in good standing and complete an application and contract for services.
