What Works: • Aesthetic space: • Design of room – office layout • Room décor – Aboriginal art and artefacts • Morning tea and lunch provided and shared in the room • Coffee/tea available ongoing • Space/time for pre-lesson yarning. Teacher, students & support staff have a cuppa, something to eat and share stories. Building relationships

  10. What Works: • Each client and their industries are valued, clients base their deliveries, design and assessment tools around their industry • Workshop times designed by both clients and teacher to suit everyone • Workplace visits/assessments where required Ngulingah Aboriginal Land Council

What Works: • The Aboriginal Learning Circle demonstrated a client focused attitude, offered quality customer service and growth in community with the motive of meeting unmet demands for a skilled workforce. It enhanced opportunities and potential outcomes for all participants so that all could contribute to a wider national skills base and a shared contribution to Australia’s economic development of social and cultural life.
