  2. Last year... • Micro vascular Screening Project • Retinopathy • Neuropathy • Nephropathy • Creating links with Orthopaedics and Vascular services • 2 MDFC now have weekly input from vascular services

  3. Scottish Diabetes Foot Action Group National audit 2013 • 1,048 in-patients with diabetes • 2.4% of in patients with diabetes developed a new foot lesion whilst in hospital • 57% of in patients had not had their feet checked • 60% who were discovered to be at risk of developing a foot ulcer did not have any pressure relief in place

  4. Re-audit 2019 • Week beginning 25th February • All IN patients with diabetes included • Mammoth task • 1702 beds at QEUH

  5. Focus for the coming year • CPR for feet in community • Improve communication between all stakeholders • Widen our representation Gail.Morrison@ggc.scot.nhs.uk
