Learning Mobile Author • The "Learning Mobile Author"(LMA) is a comprehensive learning application. It transfers the computer-aided and multimedia-basedlearning (known as eLearning) to a mobile environment (to a mobile phone). This special kind of computer-aided and multimedia-based learning is commonly known as "LMAarning".

Learning Mobile Author • The LMA communicates with the learning-platform over the open standards HTTP and XML. The learning objects itself are created with XML too. This makes the creation of new learning objects very easy and makes it possible to create learning objects for nearly every kind of learning content.
Learning Mobile Author • Within the learning object you can use text-, image-, audio- and video-elements as well as interactiveobjects. • The LMA was developed with the Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME). As a consequence the LMA is platform-independent and runs on every mobile phone that supports the needed Java-APIs.
