THE LAW Data to be accessible on YOUR websiteEach school district shall make the following information and data easily identified on its website or the website of the school district's education service cooperative, if the education service cooperative maintains the school district's website:
Current comprehensive financial data reports for school districts, including: Local and state revenue sources Administrator and teacher salary and benefit expenditure data School district balances, including legal balances and building fund balances THE LAW
Minutes of regular and special meetings of the school board of directorsThe school district budget for the ensuing year, which shall be posted on the website within thirty (30) days following the date required to be submitted to the Department of EducationA financial breakdown of monthly expenses of the school district THE LAW
Current contract information with all school district employees, except social security numbers, telephone numbers, personal addresses, or signatures shall not be publishedThe annual budget of the school districtThe annual school district statistical report Each school district's personnel policies THE LAW
Information and data is required to be made available and easily accessible on the school district's website under this section shall be the actual data for the two (2) previous school years and the projected budgeted information for the current school year. THE LAW
THE LAW The department shall make the information and data required by this section available and easily accessible on the department's website by including direct links to the websites of all Arkansas school districts.

KEY COMPONENTS • There are several components that go into creating a web design, but I believe it can be broken down into FOUR Basic components: • Solid Layout • Effective Typography • The Right Color Scheme • Appropriate Design Elements • If you’re able to execute on all four, you will have a hit web design on your hands!
KEY COMPONENTS SOLID LAYOUT The importance of having a good foundation applies to just about everything in life. In web design, The foundation is a SOLID LAYOUT • Involves properly placing all the content and navigational components • Establish a hierarchy in these elements • This should be determined by how you think your audience will use the site
KEY COMPONENTSSOLID LAYOUT Wire Frames • This is a common practice used to nail down a layout • This is a barebones representation of the various elements that will appear on the page
KEY COMPONENTS SOLID LAYOUT BE GENEROUS withWHITESPACE • We often make the mistake of over crowding our web designs. • Adding larger amounts of whitespace will actually give your design a more sophisticated look • The balance of white space makes it easier to focus on what is important
KEY COMPONENTS EFFECTIVE TYPOGRAPHY • Just like layout, typography plays an important role in how a user digests the content of the website. • Try using all caps and a large font size for the titles and subtitles.

Key Components THE RIGHT COLOR SCHEME Choosing the right color scheme is extremely important, because it will set the mood of your design (More so than any other component) Don’t let your personal taste interfer with the overall look of your design Base all aspects of your design on what is trying to be achieved Make sure your color scheme will appeal to audience you are targeting
