The Host: Bartender The Host owns the Tabard Inn where all of the characters are in the beginning of the story. He enjoys bartending.
The Host: Popular The Host is a very likeable and popular guy who appears to be liked by all of the characters in the story.
The Host: Manly The Host is described as a strong, burly, and big manly man.
The Host: Leader In the story, the host leads the whole group and takes charge of nearly every situation presented. He even makes a contest that he is the judge of.
The Host: Mediator In the story the host tries to resolve all fighting and just wants everyone to get along.
The Host: Loud & Merry The Host is described as a loud and fun loving, merry type of person that is just happy and jolly all of the time.
The Host: Quick Temper The Host may be happy most of the time, but if someone does something to set him off he can get angry very quick and it’s not pretty.
The Host: Imaginative The Host is the one who made up the entire contest to win a feast for the best story told. He is a very imaginative person.
The Host: Fun, Friendly, Respectable The Host can get along with everyone is never mean to anyone. He is very respectable for that and is a truly good human at heart. He knows how to treat people.
The Host: Man of the World The Host takes on the responsibility as tour guide for the pilgrimage and everyone trusts him instantly. He is a man of the world and knows many things that most don’t.
