The selection of the schools • General schools (2) - Stanisław Staszic High School in Lublin - Jan Zamoyski High School in Lublin • Vocational schools (1) - Stanisław Konarski Vocational Schools in Opole Lubelskie • Universities (1) - Maria Curie Sklodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin
The selection of the companies 5 partners from different sectors of regional economy • IT sector: Enzo (interactive agency) • Tourism sector: Hotel Unia • Mechanical engineering sector:Intrall Polska (producer of small vans) • Agricultural sector: The Wilków Community • Environmental sector: Kom-Eko (waste management).
Implementation of the curriculum • Curriculum based on INSTI project, but adjusted to Polish circumstances/standards • Curriculum can’t be implemented directely into general/vocational school program (inflexible educational system) • Training based on INSTI was carried out in 2 tours during the weekends in October. • Training was separated from schools programs • Training was standardized for all pupils/students
The Curriculum • The Duration of one course: 24 hours • The Datas: - first tour: 7/8 and 21/22 of October - second tour: 14/15 and 28/29 of October
The Curriculum • Program of the Training: 1. The Introduction to the innovations (importance of innovations, protection of innovations) – 4 hours 2. Successful inventors and innovations in the region – 4 hours 3. The Process of innovations (new product development) – 6 hours 4. Contents of the application for funding – 4 hours 5. Interpersonal communication and creativity techniques in the process of innovations – 6 hours

Problems with project implementation • Most of the teachers are not interested in project implementation (lack of salary, time-consuming on a large scale etc.) • Lack of research centers opened for project participants (laboratories, IT centers)
