Lessons Learned • Establish formal relationship among partners before reaching out to landowners, Conservation Intermediary on board • Geographic focus • Create cohesive, compelling story for conservation • General funding strategy with keystone funder identified • Include bargain sale component during landowner outreach • Allow for multi-phase conservation to build on success
