What is Crohn’s disease? • Attacks and destroys healthy body tissue. • People may have inflammation from the gastrointestinal tract. • The inflammation causes the intestinal wall to become thick.
Where is Crohn’s disease found? • The Crohn’s disease mostly occurs in the intestines. • But it can also occur anywhere from the mouth to the anus.
Why does Crohn’s disease occur? • Crohn's disease occur because the body’s immune system reacts to the good bacteria and food instead of trying to fight it off. Because it doesn’t fight it off the white blood cells gather in the lining of the intestines. Then this is why the inflammation occurs in the intestines.
How can you get rid of Crohn’s Disease • The treatment includes a combination of nutrition, drugs, and surgery. They control inflammation and improve nutrition. But there is no cure exactly for the disease. • The drugs can help for the anti inflammation, for the immune system, and anti diarrheal and fluid replacements.
