Method • Incorporate the SPARC method (institutionally defined, scholarly, perpetual, interoperable & OA) • Start by assigning the project manager to compile a mission and vision statement. • The project team should add • a content criteria policy • Mix in a strategic plan • Stir in a marketing mix • Add in a pinch of enthusiasm (positive attitude and dedication – optional)

  4. Baking tips • Display the repository in a modern environment (web 2 enabled) indefinitely • Don’t forget to monitor its progress using tools like Google Analytics • Run a focus group/survey for regular feedback

  5. To serve • Ask a Clinical champion to serve/launch the repository • Highlight the launch using social media • Serve with an institutional mandate
