History of Chris / Sustainability • Long Term Mater Employee (27 years) • Multiple Admin / Finance Roles • Last 12 years Senior Management • Previous Role – Director of Admin – 440 staff – wide cross section of business functions • Diplomas Mgt / HR / Project Mgt • Morphed into a Project role • Sustainability Manager • Diploma Sustainability - TNQT • First Time Uni student in my Forties!
Partnerships – Griffith • Information Forums – Asia Pacific Centre for Sustainable Enterprise • Presenter – Graduate Cert in Sustainable Enterprise 2010 • Joint business arrangement – Pro Environmental Behaviour Study, Turn it Off campaign, Staff pledge • Student – Completed Graduate Certificate Sustainable Enterprise June 2011 • Student – Future plans – Masters Environment / Masters Sustainability ( Dr Hill, Dr Hill, paging Dr Hill)
Partnerships - Griffith • Legitimacy / Expertise for my role • Grant –Industry Collaboration Scheme - $10 K and in kind • Grant application to NCCARF $30 K cash $50K in kind -commitment over two years – with Griffith / UQ / UWA / Leeds – applied for $600 K • Participated in GROW network, Perth • Discussions re Global Organizational Learning and Development Network (GOLDEN) for Sustainability
