  2. OTAG 2011 • In AY 2011-2012, an estimated 21,000 students received approximately $19 million in OTAG awards. • OTAG appropriations for 2012-2013 : $19,115,722

  3. 2012-2013OTAG Program • FAFSA Receipt Deadline for Best Consideration: March 10, 2012 • EFC cutoff: 1700 • Non Resident FT Active Military students, spouses and dependents eligible for OTAG • Students who are ineligible for Pell, will also be ineligible for OTAG

  4. AWARD CLAIM FORMS • Pre-populated Award Claim Forms will be set to FT for Enrollment status • Award Claim Form will be placed on O-Safe upon request • Award Claim Form Template is available on OTAG website for schools wishing to create their own reports • Schools will need to monitor LEU for students who have reached lifetime eligibility for PELL.

  5. 2012-2013OTAG Program • 2012-2013 award schedule: FALL 2012 • Deadline for submitting Initial Fall Award Claim Form: October 1, 2012 • Deadlines for submitting final Fall Award Claim Form: November 13, 2012 • Institutional Notification for Pending Return of Funds to OTAG: December 3, 2012 • Deadline for OSRHE to notify institutions of any changes for Spring 2013 awarding criterion: December 10, 2012

  6. 2012-2013OTAG Program • 2012-2013 award schedule: SPRING 2013 • Deadline for submitting Initial Spring Award Claim Form: March 4, 2013 • Deadlines for submitting final Spring Award Claim Form: April 8, 2013 • Institutional Notification of Pending Return of Funds to OTAG: April 19, 2013 • Deadline for OSRHE to notify institutions of any Summer OTAG awards: May 1, 2013

  13. Payment Process • OTAG Fund requests are run twice a week – Tuesday and Friday at noon • Funds to and from Public Institutions will be transferred electronically • Career Technology schools and Private Colleges will continue to receive paper checks until further notice.
