RT. 24 MAPLETON, IL 61547-9799 Phone (309) 633-8606 Fax (309) 633-8434 October 27, 2008 The Central Illinois Chapter of the AFS/ASM is making plans for the 63rd Annual “Christmas Party” December 6, 2008 to be held at the Hotel Pere Marquette in Peoria, IL. The hotel is reserving a block of rooms for the convenience of out-of-town guests at a special rate of $99 plus tax. When making your reservations just let them know you’re attending the American Foundry Society Christmas Party to receive the special rate. Arrangements for room reservations must be made directly through the Hotel Pere Marquette at (309) 637-6500. Anyone who stays overnight is welcome to a FREE breakfast buffet and all parking is included for overnight guests. As in previous years, foundry suppliers and foundry related businesses are given the opportunity to make donations to help defray part of the expenses of this holiday event. If you wish to make a contribution, your check should be made payable to the Central Illinois Chapter of the American Foundry Society Inc. and mailed to: American Foundry Society Inc. Central Illinois Chapter 8826 W. Route 24 Mapleton, Illinois 61547-9799 Attn: Christine McCarthy Your contributions to this annual evening of entertainment and fun are greatly appreciated by the chapter and their guests. Contributions will be given recognition by having their company name printed in the 2008 program, which is available the evening of the event. In addition, you are cordially invited to join us for an evening of dinner, entertainment, prizes, and dancing. Tickets for the event can be reserved by filling out the form below and mailing back to me by November 24, 2008. This year’s event is $65.00 per couple and checks should be made out to the American Foundry Society Inc. and mailed directly to me at the above address. This year AFS has decided to provide everyone with a Grand Dinner Buffet. I appreciate your consideration.
