  2. Netiquette • Netiquette is the manners you use on the internet (rules of the computer) • The way you behave online • Online conduct

  3. Follow Netiquette • Think about the way you would want to be treated online, treat others with that same respect. • Don’t harass, bully, tease, threaten, or say mean things to people through the internet. Whatever you put online will be there forever and can never be deleted

  4. Be Safe online • Don’t give away any personal information over then internet

  5. What do you mean “personal information?” • Don’t use your full name online • Don’t give out information on where you live • Don’t talk to strangers • Don’t give anybody your phone number

  6. Netiquette and Online Safety go hand in hand • Netiquette and online safety are both a set of rules, created to help benefit us when we are online.

  7. If your not safe online… • People can find you • If your not safe online your putting your own life at risk.

  8. DON’T PUT YOURSELF AT RISK – BE SAFE ONLINE

  9. REMEMBER TO FOLLOW THE RULES OF NETIQUETTE
