Look up Jfischer13 and log on to check for assignments. Mrs. Fischer’s 3rd Grade Newsletter Aug. 18-22, 2013 jfischer@mcpss.com This week: Reading: Flat Stanley Unit, Main idea, recount stories Test Thursday Grammar: Nouns Test Friday Spelling: short a and long a patterns Math: Things that come in groups, multiplication 0- 5 Science: Plants Test TBA Homework ** all homework (except Math) will be due Friday Reading: read a book or log into RAZkidsand read daily for 20 min., reading log due Fri. Math: assigned as needed and due the following day. Practice Math Factson Xtra math.org (passwords sent home last week) Kid Blog: Check weekly and post response http://kidblog.org/MrsFischers3rdGrade **Check folder for additional homework Spelling Words No excuse words: are, as, at, be, been Long e: cheap, dream, restaurant, sweet, least, reach, speed Challenge: either, escape NO TEST THIS WEEK!
