Who is Bill Clinton, and Why Does Have a Library? • William Jefferson Clinton – 42nd President of the United States • Elected 1992, 1996 • 2nd youngest President ever elected (46 on Inauguration Day) • His wife, Hillary Clinton, is our Secretary of State • There are 13 Presidential libraries, which contain papers, records and historical artifacts from the President’s time in office

  3. What’s Really Cool About the Library? They have a reproduction of the Cabinet Room, where the President, Vice President, and all the other department heads meet. Stanley thought the President’s Chair was pretty comfy

  4. Stanley Got to Stick His Nose in the Oval Office That’s the window whereStanley is looking in! That’s Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton! See that cool desk? That’s the Resolute Desk – given to the President Rutherford Hayes by Queen Victory – it’s the desk they are searching for in the movie National Treasure II

  5. And He Even CheckedOut the Saxophones • The Presidents/Candidates before Bill Clinton had all been older, and kind of like Grandfathers. • Clinton was young and did cool things like going on late night TV and playing the Saxophone (this video is from the 1992 Election)
