Catholic School Vs. Public School. Introduction.

Introduction Catholic School, Public School? Public School, Catholic School? This question is in the minds of many Catholic parents as they being raising their children. The best gift you could give your child is the gift of education; many parents believe that you cannot go wrong with a Catholic education, while other parents enjoy the convenience of a local public school.
Task • Mr. and Mrs. Cook have just moved to Port Washington. They have two children, Michelle who is 8 and Tommy who is 5. Mr. and Mrs. Cook had no problem deciding where to move, but they are having a hard time deciding which school to send their children to. Mr. Cook attended his local public school when he was a child and wants his children to have to same experience as him. But Mrs. Cook attended Catholic school for 15 years and has always dreamed of sending her children to a Catholic School.

Process • Assemble together a team of high school teenagers. Help The Cook Family make their decision by creating a presentation highlighting the pros and cons of both public and Catholic school.
